Holy Snowballs!!
And it's still snowing!!! I can't wait for Grady to wake up and see it! So far, I'm guessing 7 inches. The weather man says that it's supposed to keep snowing till noon. Wow!! I haven't seen this much snow since I was a kid. I'm so excited to let Grady play in it. But, I don't think his snow boots will be tall enough.

He Really Does Have Ears
Then, like children do, they prove you wrong.
Last night, I was in the kitchen raiding the chocolate stash. I told Chris, "You can tell I'm on my period, because all I want to eat is chocolate." Low and behold, the child's ears are working and Grady pipes up and says, "Me too. I think I'm on my period. I want chocolate."

Always the last to know
Dirty Sexy Money (along with Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone, which I never watched) was cancelled.
UGGGHHHHH!!! WHY???
I am so disappointed. Grey's Anatomy hasn't really been that great lately either.
Maybe I should just stop watching that channel altogether.

Check or No Check
I know this hasn't been in the news a lot lately, but really. I would hold up a sign with this guy. Where is our money? Seems like all the big companies got some, what about the little man?
I found this picture after searching for information about a possible 2009 stimulus check. I heard of the possibility for a new round of checks and thought I would see what the cyber world could tell me about it. I still don't know. I would very much like to have another round of checks.
Mr. Obama, please help me out!!

Thought for the day...
If you can't eat it or hump it....piss on it and walk away.
Watch Out, Amber!!
Cake
So, I thought about the cake some more and decided to visit cakes from the past 3 birthdays. I have been making Grady's cakes all along. I'm not a Betty Crocker by any means, but I think looking at these has put me in the mood to get busy!
Last year, McQueen was all Grady talked about. There was no doubt in my mind what I would do for a cake then. The green icing for the infield stained Grady's lips. Oh, well...he looked cute even with green lips.
This year....dinosaurs. Grady has turned into the know it all about dinosaurs. Any time we are surfing through the guide on TV, he asks if there is any dino shows on. The science channel has overruled Nickelodeon. Not a complaint really, but I don't care for either one very much.
Stay tuned....Dinosaur cake is on it's way!
Giveaway
She has a super cute blog, designed herself I might add. So if you like her layout....and you don't win, contact Christina for a new look.

Happy Birthday Sugar Bean!
Momma hopes you have many more happy birthdays. I hope today is extra special for you. You will be at school (wouldn't want to spoil you and let you stay home!). I'm sure Angie will have a special treat for you!
Grady's party is tomorrow night. I still have to make the cake after work. I know...nothing like waiting until the last minute!! Tonight, watch out McDonald's, here we come!!

Time flies when you're having fun!
I woud go through all that over again to have my handsome little man. Grady, you have been the biggest accomplishment of my life thus far. Everyday you make me feel prouder to be your momma. I love you Grady Sawman. I hope you know how much!
***Just for the record....I tried to upload my favorite baby picture of Grady, but Blogger wouldn't let me because I had some kind of internal error.....maybe it's trying to tell me something.

My Momma and Daddy
Tomorrow she will be having a spinal fusion done. They are going in beside her belly button since there is too much scar tissue on her back from previous surgeries. I know she is extremely nervous about this procedure and hopes it can take away all her pain. I do too. She has been miserable for awhile now and I would wish her kind of pain on no one.
Today is my dad turns 50!! Holy Cow!! Dad, you old fart! Sorry you have to spend your birthday on the road. Maybe you can at least catch a good meal on the way. Enjoy the hotel stay too. Keep my momma safe and give her a great big hug and kiss from us!
Love you guys! Good Luck Mom!
Agree to Disagree
No more stress. That is my new year's resolution. Quit following me, Stress!!
Now, how do I cope with it when it comes around? Any suggestions.
Yoga? Tried it. I don't think my body is meant to do some of those things. Smoking? NO WAY! Tried that for awhile too. Not again. Drinking? Okay, sometimes. But not for me either. I get too loopy too quickly. Deep breaths? Um, I think I might hyperventilate. Or have flashbacks of being in labor. What's left?
Tattle tale
I just got a phone call from Tristan's mom about the biting incident. She said someone read my post and told her about it.
She says she didn't tell him to bite Grady. Whatever.
SO....to the unidentified reader.... if you want to man up and reveal yourself, that would be nice. Much nicer than being childish and tattle telling.

Okay, Now I am REALLY pissed!
Tonight, my mom and I got haircuts. Grady stayed at her house. We get home from town and Grady said, "Momma, T-Bone bit me!!! Really hard!!"
I know Tristan has bit him before, hard. That, I thought, was a one time deal and he wouldn't do it again.
No, I was wrong.
My dad said, "There's more. Just ask Tristan."
So I did. He proceeded to tell me the rest of the story after being asked why he bit Grady. He said, "Mommy said 'Bite Grady.'"
Well, isn't that special. The bond between a mother and child.
I sit here typing this and my hands are shaking. My heart is pounding. My breathing is terribly fast. And I learned of his over 2 hours ago!!!
What on Earth gives her the right to tell a 2 year old to do such a thing?? Why? Does this give her some sick satisfaction? Is this a game? I mean, isn't that like some sort of child abuse? If not, it damn well should be.
I tell you what, honey, I assure you it is not a game. You done chose the wrong team to play.
This is really getting old. I wonder what's next.
