The Senses Game

Thanks to Granny for intoducing the boys to this game. Close your eyes, or get blindfolded, then smell and taste foods and see if you can guess what you're eating. Grady wanted to try it out on his Dad. He had some really good ideas for his Dad to try; ranch dressing, pickles, pineapple yogurt, cinnamon/sugar. Unfortunately for Daddy, there was an open container of Gerber Green Beans in the fridge!!
Isn't it funny, I thought only adults opened their mouth to try and get babies to eat, but apparently it works both ways...check out Grady's face!!

Grady had the tables turned on him too. Daddy got him to try (or at least put in his mouth and gag on) mayonnaise, chocolate syrup, ketchup and lemonade mix. Grady got his own medicine with Daddy doing the feeding too though....Baby food Bananas.

On a side note.... a friend of mine had a blog post about her son drawing shoulder pads or puffy sleeves (can't remember which) on a girl, but she thought he had drew boobs. Grady used a magnet to make an easel on the fridge last night and drew 'shoulders' on his person. When Chris asked who he drew he said it was me. So I am guessing all little boys this age draw girls with boobs, but just say they are shoulders to save themselves from having a lot of explaining to do.

Say Ahhhh.....

Dawson and Grady talked me into popsicles at the grocery store on Tuesday.
Looks like Grady didn't get as into his as Dawson did.
They took a picture of me too, but I refuse to share it.

Happy Birthday Grady Sawman!!

Today my little boy is 5!!
Grady,
This has been the greatest 5 years of your momma's life. It is always an adventure and I never know what funny things you are going to say. You make me laugh, you make me smile, you make me cry sometimes. You always know when I need a big Grady hug and can say just the right thing to charm my socks off. I love you so much and wish for you one of the happiest years ever. Have a great day little man, even if we're snowed in!
Love,
Your Momma

Snow Much Fun

Cheesy title, right?

It's only took me 2 weeks to get these pictures posted. I'm slacking big time lately. Oh, well. Better late than never. I seem to be saying that way too much over Grady's Christmas break from preschool. I will have to get back in the swing of things soon. Like, as in tomorrow. It has went by very quickly.

Grady and his dad were the only ones to venture outside that day. Much too cold for me. I am glad that Grady did get to play in the snow at least once while he was off of school. And Chris was home so he could play in the snow with his toys too!
