Totally Blogworthy

I am pretty lax when it comes to rainy days and having some indoor fun. Grady was sure having a great time, how could I tell him to stop?

Mom and I took the boys to Toys 'R Us for a Thomas play date (which was highly overrated). Some nice man found a dollar in the parking lot and gave it to us to let the boys ride the ice cream truck. Thank you nice man! I believe it made their day!

Aunt's kitty has decided it likes our house better. Grady likes Mister Kitty too. They played until it was too dark to see Saturday night.

And the best for last....

Grady loaded his sand pile up with water and then decided to bathe in it.
WOW!! Talk about the mud bath! He had fun and took a garden hose bath outside yesterday.

Maybe we should start charging and Grady could make a few bucks on his spa treatments. You know sand has to be good at exfoliating!!

Busy

I guess I have neglected my blog terribly. My job has kept me busy lately....not that that is a bad thing. I love the paychecks.

Maybe another day I will think of something blog worthy to talk about.

Recap of the Last Few Days

Grady can drive already. We skipped bike riding with no training wheels altogether.

Just went straight for the driving lessons.

This was my biggest find over the weekend. I went out by myself on Thursday and found 30. Today the whole family went and I found 14. Chris found 2. Yeah...right, who's counting. ME that's who!

Nine Years Ago Today

It's Over ....Finally!

Well, I have officially ended this DAMN diet!!

I ate ice cream guilt free last night!

I could have done better. I'll own up to that. I could have walked more. I could have ate less. Oh, well. It's freakin' over now. It is what it is! After the 10 week competition, I am down a total of 14.2 pounds. Not so great and 5.8 pounds short of my goal (that I set a little late, mind you). But, I am still proud of myself for losing that much.

Catching Up

I don't know what my deal is lately....didn't really have anything to blog about I guess. Well, I did, but I didn't want to waste all my time loading pictures on the computer.

I finally printed pictures from my son's birthday *IN JANUARY* and scanned some of them in to share.

In the words of Grady, "I couldn't find my other slipper, so I just had to use this beer thing."

He loves the Wii. Monster Truck races, with the steering wheel, is his new fave.

The little turd climbed on top of his swing set. I went to get the mail and found him up there. Nice.

Apparently our dog was a victim in a serious crime. Chalk outline and all.

We got baby chicks 2 weeks ago. I'm sharing a picture from then, not now cause now they're really ugly.

Grady to the rescue! Gus treed (not sure if that is a word, or at least not sure if that's how you spell it) Aunt's cat. Grady wanted to save it. I'm surprised the cat's not still there.

Another time my child was left unattended. I think I went to the bathroom this time. Huge blobs of lotion on this kids legs. They were still white 10 minutes later. But at least his legs are smooth now.

Poor kid fell asleep waiting on a Diego game to download.

That about does it for catching up. I officially start my new job today. I probably won't be posting as much because of it. Look forward to another catch up post, I'm sure that will be all I can muster!
