And Now 2 Months Have Passed

Seriously, where does the time go anymore?? Isaiah is 2 months old today. These last 2 months have been a whirlwind.
I'm afraid it is only going to get worse. Christmas is 20 days away. Grady is a little over a month away from being 6 years old. That is unbelievable!!
The last month has had quite a bit going on including my return to work, Grady having a puke fest and a visit from Chris's brother.
As always, photo highlights for your viewing pleasure should be included. However, blogger is not letting me. When, and if I can upload them, I will.

Where Did the Month Go?

The first season of soccer is over. It was a great experience. I have to say that the positive experience was probably due to the great coach Grady had and how well he did with the kids. His team got to play 2 games in the tournament last weekend. They won the first game after overtime (or whatever it is called in soccer) and lost (really lost) the second. I'm pretty proud of my little man for playing and having a good time too!

I don't know how, but my newest little man is a month old tomorrow! The past 30 days have been a blur, but I really don't know how our household could have been more blessed. I really wonder what we did with all the time we had free before.

I finally caught a grin!! The camera wasn't nearby when he went to sleep, but the laptop was beside the chair. I turned on the camera and clicked just in time to get this one. Gas, Ha! I just know he was dreaming of his momma!

On a side note, I go back to work in 8 days.

Happy Halloween!!!

Isaiah's First Halloween, Grady's Sixth.....crazy how hard it is to get two kids in and out at houses compared to just one.

Just Photos

Grady's last regular season soccer game was Saturday. He was tickled pink to get a trophy. Thanks for making soccer a great experience Coach Bob!!

Grady has to read to Isaiah a lot. You can tell Isaiah enjoys it, most of the time.

My little monkey cannot stay out of the trees in our yard. We went out and enjoyed some of the nice weather and kept our fingers crossed he didn't fall and hurt himself!

Isaiah got his first real bath. I don't think this picture shows how much he really did like it. He sat up with me with his butt in the water and was content for the longest time. Guess that just goes to show that kids always want to make a liar out of you!

1 week Already?

Hard to imagine life without 2 little men in my life. Even harder to believe that the littlest man has been here a week already. We have been blessed with two beautiful, healthy and happy baby boys. You can tell that big brother isn't very happy to have little brother around. Ha ha!! I have been a little camera happy, but will only share a couple.....for now anyway!

Fall Has the Best Sports of All

Not only does fall mark the beginning of football season, the youth soccer league begins now as well. Grady has been really excited to play soccer. I have to say, it is much more interesting than t-ball. He seems to like it a lot more too.

The first game for his team, the 'Blueberries,' was this morning and his team won!

Grady's New Smile

Grady lost his first tooth tonight!!! He was not scared to have it pulled, but super excited. A little freaked out at first since there was some blood involved, but he cannot wait for the Tooth Fairy to come tonight!!

Glasses????

No, not really. Just goofy ones Grady had to wear for an eye exam with Dr. Sanders today. He thought they were pretty cool, but I think he may want to reconsider!

Proud Dad Moment

I guess this was the next on the list for Grady to have. He is officially a sharp shooter. Chris helped him and he was able to shoot BB's at an aluminum can and hit it three times.
Guess he will be big enough to go hunting with Dad when the new baby comes this fall ;)

Latest Additions

I couldn't find two exact matches for Big/Little Brother shirts, but I think these will do.

Weekend Highlights

The Bergbowers took a little trip across the Mississippi this past weekend to let Grady have some Momma and Daddy time before the chaos starts. I'm starting a part-time job and then of course, new baby in a few months. We had a nice trip and enjoyed our time away.

Didn't notice the word at the bottom until after I took the picture, but kinda funny.
The view of the city from our hotel window was really pretty.

City Museum was a big hit with Grady. We had taken him there a few years ago. He only gets better at the monkey business. Yes, that is Grady and his Daddy way up there in the air.

Grant's Farm was a good stop too. He loved feeding the goats and said he would feed his baby brother a bottle just like those goats. Ummm....well, maybe.

Grady bought and stuffed a puppy at Build-a-Bear in the Science Center for his baby brother too. He's gonna be wonderful at this big brother stuff!

T-Ball Season is Here

Grady's team has their first game in the books.

T-Ball has sure changed since I played eons ago. No one gets out, no one wins or loses. It is basically practice against another team. Not complaining, just weird.

The final batter for the inning gets to hit a home run. Whether the ball goes to the outfield or the pitcher, it is a home run. Grady was lucky enough to make the last hit of the game and get his first 'home run.'

Even with the playing in the dirt and not paying a whole lot of attention, I am proud of my little man's effort tonight. Hope he sticks with it and enjoys ball as much as his momma!

Slip n Slide

I think summer has finally gotten here.

Wow...is it hot!
Before I got the energy to set up the pool...I remembered I had purchased a Slip n Slide on clearance last year. Good thing I found it, because Grady loves it!

A Little Happy, A Little Sad

I'm a little happy today for many reasons.

  • Today is Grady's preschool end of the year program. He has been singing all the songs and doing the motions for them at home all the time.

  • Last night was his first T-Ball practice. He picked a lot of grass when he was supposed to be learning about being a right fielder. But, he came home and called his Papa and said it was the bestest sport ever.

  • Another happy feeling is because of the fact I am (this close) to being 19 weeks pregnant. It is becoming a lot more real that we are half way to being new parents again.

Then there is the sad. No bullets necessary. Just straight to the point. One year ago, I was told that the child I was carrying no longer had a heartbeat. I never thought in my wildest dreams that miscarriage would happen to me. But, it did. And I have survived the year, never forgetting what might have been with that baby. Seeing babies that are the age ours would have been hurts so bad. Yes, it has gotten easier throughout the past months due to the baby I am currently pregnant with. This pregnancy is not a replacement though. It is a new life that will know about the angel watching over them.
