Grady's Newest Obsession

He has recently discovered grooming. I mean like fixing himself up and stuff. He has always bathed, of course. Lately, Grady wants to make sure his hair is all slicked down and that he looks good in what he is wearing. Now, he has to blow dry after his shower. I didn't know 3 year olds did this kind of thing. I thought that I had a good 10 years before all this started!

Tagged Again

Okay, Janelle.....here are 6 random things about me:

  1. I will not fish or any other creature that swims.
  2. I already started Christmas shopping.....okay, you may now puke!
  3. I would love to have a cake from Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes) made just for me.
  4. My mom thought Chris and I would starve because I couldn't cook much of anything before I was married.
  5. As long as I am on the cooking subject, I would love to meet Paula Deen.
  6. I really want to take a vacation somewhere far away from the drama.

I am supposed to tag someone else, but I'm not gonna. I'm challenging anyone who reads my blog and has never left a comment to please do so. I am really curious who all is out there reading about my crazy life!

Preschool

I guess I forgot to post this....

Grady has started preschool one day a week. He goes to Angie's (Kara's sister, for those of you who don't know) on Thursday. Most of the day. I take him at my morning break and don't pick him up until I am done with work. This is quite the departure for me. I haven't been without him at lunch time for quite awhile. My mom, wow, she really doesn't know what to do with herself!

He has only went once, so far. He was sick last week and, well, we didn't want Dawson or Lexie or Baby Jordyn to be puking all over the house like he was.

He loved it! I hate that he loves it. I am terrible, I know this. I wanted him to miss me, but I don't think he even cared I wasn't there.

Oh, well..... I have to let go sometime. It isn't like I can follow him to school on my bike or anything, right Mom??

Life On Hold

Our lives have been incredibly stressful lately. Just a little recap:

  • My son has been sick and has been puking all over the house.
  • My nephew has been in the hospital with it coming out the other end.
  • My mom has surgery today and again next month.
  • My dad has been having chest pains.
  • My husband is now in full hunting mode and still sees no deer when he's out.
  • My phone will not work well due to some dumbass cutting a line or something stupid.
  • My internet would not work due to the same dumbass.
  • My brakes on my car are making a funny noise.
  • My head is all plugged up and I have sinus pain from all the farming around us.

I don't want any more stress and/or drama in my life. It seems to follow me. I cannot stand it anymore. It seems like people parade themselves around as good people, but then when the going gets tough, they act like they cannot do the RIGHT thing to help you out. I am sick of FAKERS who create all this drama for me to deal with!!

If you are not one of these people, please tell me how I can get rid of all this bull crap!

Poor Bears

I so thought they had it in the bag with 11 seconds left. Lord, why was that not miraculous enough? You had to pull another one out for the Falcons. 1 second remaining and a field goal lets them win by 2.

WHY???

I love Kyle Orton. Rex Grossman would never have made up the point differential in such a short period of time as Kyle did. Rex probably would have been sacked at least twice in just attempting to get the job done.

All in all, I was proud of the Bears yesterday. Just not happy with the outcome. There's always next week, I guess.
